Frances Bullock Pegram, 87, of Henderson, NC died Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Bulloc k and Louise Hope Bullock . She was the widow of James Arthur Pegram .

Mrs. Pegram was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Island Creek Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Johnny Yount . Burial will follow in the church cemetery ,

Surviving is one son, J. Wayne Pegram (Patsy); one sister, Margaret B. Matthews, one brother, John Wesley "J.W." Bullock (Janice) ; three grandchildren, Krystle Stainback (David), Adrian Stainback (Kim) and Preston Stainback (Katie); fo ur great - grandchildren , a long with several nieces and nephews and extended family membe rs . Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Doroth y Keet on and Edith Fleming.

The family will receive friends Sunday immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of Island Creek Baptist Church . All other times, they will be at the home of Wayne and Patsy Pegram .

Serving as pall bearers will be Chris Claiborne, Derek Claiborne, Donnie Bullock, Gene Vaughan , Adrian Stainback, Preston Stainback, Tommy Newcomb and Mike Pegram.
