Francis "Frank" Macon Boyd, 78, of Butner passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 at Duke Regional Hospital.
Born in Granville County he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Boyd and Annie Bell Overton Boyd.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather. Survivors include his wife of fifty-eight years, Diane Bell Boyd; one daughter, Kimberly Oakley (Randy); one son, Kurt Boyd (Monica); seven grandchildren, David, Zac (Ashley), Drew (Jessica), Clay, Hannah, Nicole and Branden (Sarah); four great-grandchildren, Jace, Liam, Kinslee and Ezra; one sister, Sharon Boyd; two brothers, Pete Boyd (Rose) and Roy Boyd (Elizabeth) and several nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by three brothers, Wayne Boyd, James Boyd and Kip Boyd.
The family will gather for a private ceremony for close family members at a later date.
