Graham Frank Lemons Jr., 87, of Butner passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at his home.
Born in Granville County on November 10, 1937, he was the son of the late Graham Frank Lemons Sr. and Viola Bell Amos Lemons.
Frank was an electrician by trade and retired from the maintenance department at Murdoch Developmental Center in 1989 after thirty years of service.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Butner where he served as a deacon and was an active member of the Baptist Men.
Frank enjoyed motorcycling, going to the beach and mountains and especially spending time with family and friends.
Memorial services will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Butner.
Survivors include his wife of forty years, Dolly Shirey Lemons; one brother, Clarence Lemons (Dawn); one sister, Hazel Lyon and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Colleen Lemons Oakley and Lillian Lemons Newton and two brothers-in-law, Jerry Lyon and Jim Newton.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 22, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church of Butner.
