Gail Lamb Hughes passed away on May 31st, 2025 at the age of 75. Her final days were spent, surrounded by her family and close family friends.

Known for her kindness and wonderful sense of humor, Gail will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She loved working in her flower garden and enjoyed being outdoors whenever possible. Gail's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She was loved dearly and is survived by her daughter Angela Hughes Pullen of Stem, NC, her son Michael Christopher Hughes of Phoenix, AZ, her grandson Clinton Michael Tattrie of Stem, NC, her sister Linda Gewin of White Salmon Washington, her son-in-law, Chris Pullen of Stem, NC and her ex-husband Michael Lavelle Hughes of Stem, NC.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sossamon Funeral Home in Oxford, NC on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 5-7:00 p.m. and a graveside ceremony will be held at Duke Memorial Baptist Church in Louisburg, NC on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11am. Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.
