Geral P. Pergerson

Geral Penny Pergerson 78, of Henderson, NC, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Maria Parham Health.

Born in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Rubin Penny and Carrie Lee Stanley Penny. She was the widow of Andrew Pergerson Sr.

Geral was a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church, worked for Wanda's Cleaning Service for over 20 years and retired from Harriet and Henderson Yarns after 38 years of service.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson. Conducted by Rev. Frank Sossamon.

Survivors include one son, Andrew "Bryant" Pergerson Jr; one granddaughter, Reeba Hedgepeth; three great grandchildren, Layla Satterwhite, Madison Satterwhite and Trenton Burwell; a great-great grandson on the way; one sister, Jerry Lovings (Tommy); one brother, Larry Penny (Linda); a special niece, Donna Capps (Lin), as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Pam Pergerson Finney; one sister, Nancy Penny Eason; and two brothers, JR Penny and Joseph Earl Penny.
