Geraldine Crowe Boyd, 83 passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late George Royal Crowe and Mary Newby Crowe.

She was a longtime member of Tabbs Creek Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Tabbs Creek Baptist Church. Conducted by Rev. Robbie Wood and Rev. Stan Jenkins. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-four years, Norman Reeves Boyd; one daughter, Norma Jean Thomas (Keith); two grandsons, Jonathan Rosser (Lauren) and Dylan Rosser (Morgan); three great grandchildren, Aiden Rosser, Connor Rosser and Tyler Kirkner; three sisters, Carolyn Fuller, Sarah Oslin and Bonnie West (Robert Sr); and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Rudd and Annie L Crowe.

The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Tabbs Creek Baptist Church Memorial Fund, c/o Alice Overton, 6537 Harold O'Briant Rd, Oxford, NC 27565.
