Gladys Jean Ford Perdue, 87, of Henderson, NC passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie Ford and Hallie Coley Ford.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Perdue and Wayne Perdue; two grandchildren, Jason Perdue and Erin Perdue; three grandchildren, Alexandria Perdue, William Perdue, and Lincoln Wilson; and two sisters, Charlene and Frady. Alongside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Perdue, and two sisters, Darlene and Lucy.

The family will hold services at a later date.
