Gordon Robert Ramsay, 84, of Stovall passed away Monday, December 5, 2022 at his home surrounded by family.

Gordon was born in Colebrook, New Hampshire on October 16, 1938 to Sherburn Cromwell Ramsay and Maude Evelyn Quilliam.

He was a proud United States Navy Veteran, and a member of CB Unit-10. He was a member of Stovall United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Stovall United Methodist Church officiated by Reverend Johnny Yount. Burial will follow at Meadowview Memorial Park.

Survivors include, one daughter, LaVerne Dayton (Steve); three sons, Vincent Ramsay (Victoria), Leslie Ramsay (Brenda) and Gordon Ramsay (Alice); nine grandchildren, Evelyn Collins (Jeffery), Sherman Eastton (Jenna), Aimee McDonald (Aaron), Keith Ramsay, Cody Ramsay, Preston Ramsay, Rachel Ramsay, Craig Ramsay and Heather Ramsay (Adam McDonald); thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn Lydell Denham Ramsay; one grandson, Shane Thomas Eastton; three sisters, Bobbie, Betty and Patsy and three brothers, Sherburn, Jack and Ronnie.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Stovall United Methodist Church.
