Gregory Scott Wright

Gregory Scott Wright, 62, of Henderson, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Duke University Hospital.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Harry Parham Wright Jr. And Mary Elizabeth Wright.

He was a long-time member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 19, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Rehoboth United Methodist Church officiated by Pastor Will Breedlove. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include one son; Blake Wright (Kimberly), two grandchildren; Harper Wright and Blair Wright, two brothers; Jeff Wright (Lucretia) and Larry Wright (Vivian), along with several nieces, nephews and extended family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a lifelong friend Tommy Bobbitt.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Blake Wright and following the committal at the cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Wright, Jeff Wright, Harper Wright, Steven Wilkerson, Chad Wright, Beau Wright.
