Gwendolyn Earle Floyd

Gwendolyn Earle Floyd, 69, of Chapel Hill, NC passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the Siler City Center in Siler City, NC.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Earl Cooper Floyd and Doris Hight Floyd.

After graduating from Vance Senior High in 1972 she attended Hardbarger Business College in Raleigh, NC.

Gwen loved animals and worked with the SPCA in Wake County for many years before moving to Chapel Hill.

Surviving is a sister, Dottie Floyd Crocker, a longtime friend; Connie Morse, one aunt; Christine Floyd, of Oxford, NC along with cousins, other extended family members and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined.
