Hazel Rebecca West Robertson, 92, of Henderson, NC passed away Monday, February 23, 2026 at Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Bonnie Lee West and Lois Verga Abbott West.

Mrs. Robertson was a member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. She is lovingly remembered as being easily loved by people and was always thinking of how she could help others in charitable ways.

Surviving are two sons, James "Noel" Robertson (Donna), and Donnie Chris Robertson; one daughter, Rachel "Carol" Coyle; two sisters, Patricia Davis (Bill), and Ruby Peoples; two grandchildren, Peyton Noelle Robertson (Jon), and Madison Robertson Curtis (Neil); and one sister-in-law, Sue Robertson Bell. Alongside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Alvin Robertson; two sisters, Grace Starnes, and Linda Vaughan; two brothers, Bonnie Thurston West, and Dan Stanley West; and one son-in-law, Terry Coyle.

A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Frank Sossamon.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church and for all other times at the home of Noel and Donna Robertson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund
