Heather D. Hightower

Heather Dawn Hightower, 41, of Oxford, NC died Thursday, June 2,2022 at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of Catherine Adcock Yancey and the late James Anderson Hightower.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Oxford Presbyterian Church. Conducted by the Rev. Alan Koeneke. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Mc Ilhenny Sr.; one son, Blake Anderson Hightower; one step daughter, Heather Marie Mc Ilhenny; one step son, Kenneth Mc Ilhenny Jr; her mother, Cathy Yancey (George); one sister, Lauren Yancey; two brothers, Randall Hightower and Calvin Yancey (Nikki); one niece, Chloe Hightower; two nephews, Trey Yancey and Nico Yancey; and one step grandchild, Trevon Burnette.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church fellowship hall.
