Helen F. Englehart

Helen Englehart, 76, of Henderson, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania to the late Sidney and Mildred Folmsbee, later moving to Henderson in 1976 with her family.

"Ms Helen" was retired from Four County Eye Associates in Henderson. She was a faithful member of St. James Catholic Church, actively involved in the church choir and altar society. She also served the community through her work with the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Friends of the Perry Memorial Library.

A funeral mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Henderson, NC on Tuesday, April 4th at 3:00pm. Interment will be held directly afterwards at the columbarium.

Mrs. Englehart is survived by her husband, Leonard "Tom" Englehart Sr of the home; daughter Sharon Korkes (John) of Cary; son Brian Stearne of Youngsville; daughter Vickie Hines (Chris) of Henderson; step-son Leonard "Tommy" Englehart Jr (Laurie) of Nebraska; step-daughter Suzanne Englehart of Pennsylvania; and step-son Stephen Englehart of Texas. She took great joy in her 11 grandchildren - Charlee Massey, Rebecka Englehart, Michael Englehart, Nate Hunt, Sarah Korkes, Allison Hines, Kyle Stearne, Kayla Korkes, Samantha Hines, Coleman Hines, and Lexie Englehart; 4 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by Wayne Kelly (husband), Rick Folmsbee (brother), and Kay Hughes (sister).
