Hubert Lindsey Vaughan, 86, of Henderson, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2025, at his home.
Born on September 12, 1938, in Mecklenburg County, VA, he was the son of the late Albert Wade Vaughan and Katie Lee Walker Vaughan.
Graveside memorial services will be held Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Gardens in Henderson.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Campbell of Henderson and Sandra Floyd of Clayton; two grandsons; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Hugh Vaughan and Leon Vaughan (Janie), both of Henderson, one sister, Alice Chichester of Tennessee, a step-daughter Donna, and an adopted son, Bobby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Vaughan and two brothers, Wade "Nookie" Vaughan, and Herman "Fat Boy" Vaughan, and three sisters, Shirley Vaughan Edwards, Willie Mae Vaughan Wray, and Dorothy Vaughan.
