James Thomas Boyd, 85, of Zebulon passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at his home.
Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Andrew Boyd and Mattie Mae Jackson.
Graveside services will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years Yvonne Mayfield Boyd; two daughters, Bridgette Carroll (Shannon Storm) and Angel Boyd (fiancé, Gary Driver); four grandchildren, Alexandria Ruth Carroll, Nickie Jay Carroll, Bladen Scott Johnson and Presley James Johnson; five siblings, Carlton "Butch" Boyd (Patricia), William "Nick" Boyd (Shirley), Dorothy "Dot" Faulkner (Barry), Wayne Boyd (Donna) and Scarlett Taylor (Eric) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Anne Freeman and June "Cookie" Boyd.
