James Horace Herron, 58, of Butner passed away Monday, April 3, 2023, at Duke Regional Hospital.

Born in Gaston County, he was the son of Rether Gravett and the late Ernest Lee Herron.

There are no services planned at this time.

In addition to his mother, survivors include, one sister, Crystal H. Keith; one son, Dillion Herron; one daughter-in-law, Nikki Herron; his fiancé Pam Godwin; two grandchildren, four nephews, one niece, two great nephews and three great nieces. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by one son, James Horace Herron Jr.
