James Junious Hutson, 69, of Henderson, NC passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at his home.
Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Richard Daniel Hutson and Rosa Marie Overby Hutson.
Surviving are three daughters, Vanessa Velez (Tony), Erica Cruz, and Jennifer Balmer (Shaun); one son, William Bustle (Teresa); seven grandchildren, Amber Strickland, Kristin Strickland, Alexa Doolittle, Jaxson Orr, Hadley Bustle, Thomas Orr, and Harper Bustle; one great-granddaughter, Kehlani Gibbs; one sister Joyce Branch (Shelton); and one brother, Richard Hutson. Alongside his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnnie Hutson and Eugene "Bo" Hutson.
The family will hold a celebration of life service on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the home of Jennifer Balmer, 149 Tanner Place Henderson, NC 27537.
Flowers may be accepted, or donations may be made to the family or to Sossamon Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
