James "BC" Leonard Paschall, 81, Went to be with our Lord and Savior October 12, 2023.  Leonard was from Henderson, NC but has lived in Knoxville, TN for almost 50 years with his wife of 62 years Joyce.

Leonard retired as a truck driver from Revco/CVS after working for them for 46 years.  He logged millions of miles on our highways- "Definitely King of the Road". He cherished his friendships with his close friends, his time with them meant everything.  He loved riding his motorcycle with his brothers and biker buddies.  He thought the world of his family, especially his grandchildren, he was proud of them.  HIs favorite thing to do was to cheer on the Tennessee VOLS and the Braves.

He absolutely never met a stranger and would spend hours telling you his stories, some were not for all ears, ha ha.  One of his last quotes to one of his nurses was "I have never met an ugly woman; some are just prettier than others".

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson officiated by Reverend Frank Sossamon. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens.

Survived by wife Joyce Meacham Paschall, Daughters Loretta Dunaway (Matt), Dorothy Cunningham (Justin), Grandchildren Macey Armistead (Dalton), Matthew Dunaway (Katie), Dillon Raines, Mason Cunningham, and Great- Grandson Reece Tucker Dunaway.  Brothers Dennis Paschall (Drucilla), Mac Boyd, and sister Donna Starnes.  Many nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his Mother Dorothy Reese Boyd, Father Clifton White Paschall, and brother T.G Boyd.

The family will receive friends on Sunday October 15th from 2-5 at the home of Justin and Dorothy Cunningham 2447 Sugar Grove Valley Rd, Harriman, TN 37748. The family will also receive friends Wednesday October 18, 2023 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson 1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson NC, 27536.
