James L. Reese

James Louis Reese, 57, of Townsville, NC died Saturday, December 10, 2022 at his home.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of Marie Dickerson Reese and the late Morris Edward Reese.

Mr. Reese was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Rock Spring Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor Gary Brummitt.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving in addition to his mother is one sister, Patricia Reese Clayton and one brother, Morris Dean Reese (Kathy); two nephews, Trenton Clayton and Lucas Clayton, along with many aunts, uncles and extended family members.

The Men's Group of Rock Spring Baptist Church will serve as pall bearers.

The family will receive friends Friday, immediately following the service in the followship hall of the church.
