James Ronald Walker "Ronnie", 75, of Stem passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Durham VA hospital.

Born on April 2, 1950, in Granville County, he was the son of the late James Linwood Walker and Thelma Lee Noell.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 3, 2025 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Tally Ho First Baptist Church in Stem. Casual dress attire, please.

Ronnie served in the United States Air Force for four years and did one tour of duty in Vietnam.

Survivors include one brother, Gerald Walker (Joy); one sister, Mary Ann W. Hobgood (Tim); three nieces, Jennifer Pearce (Willi), Heather Cecil (Brandon) and Leanne Hobgood; three nephews, Jerry Beck (Joanne), William "Scoot" Beck and Shane Hobgood and numerous great nieces, great nephews and other extended family members.
