Janice Faye Walker, 82, of Mebane passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023at her home.

Born in Darlington County, SC she was the daughter of the late George Dewey Cox Jr. And Molly Lucretia Lambert Cox.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem, officiated by Pastor Arnold Price.

Survivors include her husband, Clay Walker; two sons, Kenneth Duane Cates (Gayla) and Marc Wendell Cates (Andrew); four stepchildren; Devon Mosley (Ronnie), Kim Dotson (Johnny), Rhonda Lee (Keith), Michael Walker (Tracy), two grandchildren; Brandon Cates and Brittany Cates Eichelberger (David); 16 step-grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.  One brother, Stephen Cox (Michael) and two sisters-in-law, Diane Cox and Barbara Cox. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dewey Cox and Roger Cox.

The family is eternally grateful for the love and support of family and friends and want to extend a special thank you to cousins Connie and Jenny.
