Jason M. Morris
Jason Michael Morris 39, formerly of Oxford, NC, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, in Winston Salem, NC.
Born in Durham County, NC, he was the son of Shearylon Faye Nash Morris and the late Melvin Morris.
Jason was a welder by trade and was loved by many.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford. Conducted by Pastor Robert Newton. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, numerous cousins and extended family. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Addie Nash; and his paternal grandparents, Roney and Myrtle Morris.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
