Jean Roberson Bowden, 76, of Kittrell, NC died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at her home.
Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late William Lee and Mary Mayes Roberson. She was the widow of Alton Paige "A.P." Bowden.
Mrs. Bowden was a retired employee of Revlon. She was a member of Fuller Chapel Christian Church.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at Flowers Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Milton Abbott and Rev. Mark Richardson.
Surviving are a son, Danny Bowden (Tobbie) of Davis; six sisters, Sandy Mangum, Ellen Richardson, Margaret Hicks, Marion Woodlief, Edith Whitbey, and Ruth Gunther; three brothers, Dennis Roberson, Larry Roberson, and Andy Roberson; two grandchildren, Dillan Bowden and Coleman Bowden; and special friends, Joanna Collins and Joyce Mercer. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Alton Clay Bowden; a sister, Felcie Whitbey; and three brothers, Billy Roberson, Sidney Roberson, and Ricky Roberson.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
