Jeanne Stuart Lassiter,94 of Kittrell, NC died Monday July 10, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born In New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Elbert M. Browne and Elizabeth Donnan Browne White.

She was formerly employed as a meat cutter at Golden Corral, where she worked for many years. While working there, she made lifelong friends who remained like family to her.

Upon her request, her body has been donated to Science for study. No services are planned at this time.

Surviving are two daughters, Rosemarie "Petals" Renn (Mike) and Penny Lassiter Lundberg (Todd Whitley); two sons, Charles Dennis Sr. (Janet) and Bernard Roberts (Dale).  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jamie Boone, two sons, Richard Reed and Jerry Reed-Burris, along with three sisters and three brothers.
