Jerry Wayne Blevins, 67, of Oxford, N.C. died on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Hock Family Pavilion, in Durham, N.C.

Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Cora Clayton Blevins and Melvin Kelly Blevins Sr.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Jean Cade, six children, many grandchildren, one great-grandchild, five sisters, Cathy Jenkins (Tommy), Dixie Smith (Dean), Sarah Blevins, Carolyn Wolfe (Scott), and Pat Blevins; and one brother Kelly Blevins (Brenda). Alongside his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Blevins, and a sister, Marie Dunman.
