Jesse Ray Dupree, 86, of Old Fort, NC passed away Friday, February 24, 2023, at Deerpark Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Harnett County, he was the son of the late Jessie James Dupree and Gladys Bowden Dupree.

Jesse was a United States Navy Veteran. He had a passion for his canine companions, horses, motorcycles, boats and cars.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include two sons, Tim Dupree (Teresa) and Don Dupree; his partner of thirty-four years, Faye Allison and a sister, Patricia "Pat" Dupree Smith. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Beasley Dupree and a sister, Faye Dupree Cates.
