Jimmie R. Jones

Jimmie Ray Jones 85, of Oxford, NC passed away Monday March 4th,2024 at his home,
peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Lewis Garland Jones and Bessie May
Phillips Jones.

At his request, there will be no formal service. Any condolences can be mailed or sent to
the home of Jimmie "Ray" and Betty Jones.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-three years, Betty Jo Coker Jones; three daughters,
Connie Jones Powell (Jim), Michelle Jones and Jennifer Jones Fish (Grant); five
grandchildren, Matthew Powell, Kristen Powell, Samantha Fish, Phillip Jones and Marlin
Hoffman; one brother, L.G. Jones Jr; and many nieces, nephews and extended family
members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred
Matthews and Frances Hicks; and one brother, Lewis Roy Jones.

Special Recognition to Pam Edwards, who was his private caregiver in his final days.
