Joel Gerardo Vallejo

Joel Gerardo Vallejo, 54, of Henderson, N.C. died Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Santa Ana Chapitiro, Michoacan, Mexico, he was the son of Silvestre Gerardo Barajas and the late Maria Trinidad Vallejo Agustin.

A Rosary Service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Henderson.

Surviving in addition to his father is his wife, Maria Ceila Gerardo; two daughters, Sherly Gerardo Ortiz (Alberto) and Vetsaira Gerardo Prudencio (Isidro) and one son, Silvestre Antonio Gerardo; two sisters, Justina Gerardo Vallejo (Manuel Barajas Bacilio) and Yula Nereida Gerardo Vallejo( Maurilio Zuluaga Chavez) and two brothers, Marco Antonio Gerardo Vallejo (Esmeralda Patricio Hernandez) and Silvestre Gerardo Vallejo (Ines Bacilio Patricio); and two grandchildren, Oliver Vargas and Jayden Vargas.

Mr. Joel Gerardo Vallejo's remains will be forwarded to Mexico for burial.
