John "Jack" Patrick Cummins, age 60, passed away at his home in Oxford, NC on Wednesday, March 15th, surrounded by his family and friends.

Born September 14, 1962 in Darby, PA to the late Joseph and Katherine (Moran) Cummins, he grew up in Secane, PA and graduated from Ridley High School. Jack spent the last 26 years in Oxford, NC where he raised his four children.

Jack was the life of the party. He was the king of dad jokes, a social butterfly, and lover of music and dancing. Jack knew just about every sports statistic ever to be recorded and was a Philadelphia sports enthusiast. He was a hard worker and a generous man, supporting his community any chance he got.

Jack is survived by his four children, Sean, Courtney, Chelsea (Brent), Caitlin (Breeze), and their mother, Catherine; his two grandchildren, Grayson and Hayden; his loving partner, Jennifer Sunshine Kelley; and his four siblings, Jimmy, Paul (Betsy), Terri (Ken), and Maureen (Ron). He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Katherine, his sister Joan, and his brothers, Robert and Joseph.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home ( 106 Clement Ave, Oxford, NC 27565 ), followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Flowers may be directed to the funeral home.
