John Vernon Hunt II, 70, of Creedmoor, NC, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at his home.

Born in Leon County, FL, he was the son of the late John Vernon Hunt Sr. and Mildred Mae Moore Hunt.

Surviving are one daughter, Samantha Hunt Chappell (Dwayne); one son, Ronnie Hunt (Stephanie); and two granddaughters, Taylor Hunt and Tessa Hunt. Alongside his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Boger Hunt; one sister, Janet Hunt; and one brother Tommy Hunt.

A private memorial service will be held by the family.
