Joseph E Brogden

Joseph Ernest Brogden – 84 of Creedmoor, NC passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Duke Regional Hospital.

Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Ernest Felix Brogden and Marguerite Estelle King.

He was of the Baptist faith.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor Chapel. Conducted by Pastor Steve Barham. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include one daughter, Teresa B. McFalls (Buck); his life partner, Betty Ellington; six grandchildren, Brad Wood, Neal Wood (Jennifer), Adam Yarbrough (Kelika), Kelly Dickerson (Jason), Keri McFalls and Dylan McFalls; thirteen great grandchildren; one sister, Katie Gorman; one niece, Judy Brummitt; and many extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Brogden and Ellie Brogden.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on the day of the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Brad Wood, Neal Wood, Adam Yarbrough, Chris Ellington, Danny King and Danny King Jr.
