Joyce Meacham Paschall, 81 went to be with our Lord and Savior January 24th, 2024. Joyce was from Henderson, NC, but has lived in Knoxville, TN for almost 50 years.

She retired from CVS in Knoxville. She loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren. She thought the world of them and would do anything for them. She attended more school events, band concerts, baseball and softball games than all of us together. She wouldn't miss watching a Duke basketball game or her Tennessee Vols playing football.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 28th at 2:00pm in the chapel at Sossamon Funeral Home of Henderson, officiated by Reverend Frank Sossamon. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens.

Survived by daughters, Loretta Dunaway (Matt) and Dorothy Cunningham (Justin), grandchildren Macey Armistead (Dalton), Matthew Dunaway (Katie), Dillon Raines, Mason Cunningham and great-grandson Reece Dunaway. Brother, Jesse Meacham (Mary) and many nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Leonard Paschall, parents Jesse and Aileene Meacham, sister Winifred Williams and brother Wesley Meacham.

Pallbearers are Dalton Armistead, Justin Cunningham, Mason Cunningham, Matt Dunaway, Matthew Dunaway and Dillon Raines.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 28th from 1:00-2:00pm at Sossamon's Funeral Home of Henderson, 1833 Oxford Rd, Henderson, NC 27536. A Celebration of Life to follow at a later date in Knoxville.
