Judy Cyrus Choplin, 76, of Henderson, NC died Monday, September 5, 2022 at her home.

Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Susie Frazier and Henry C. Cyrus.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Dr. Gene Wood and the Rev. Frank Sossamon.  Entombment will follow in Sunset Gardens.

Surviving is her husband of thirty years, Bobby Joe Choplin; one daughter, Lisa L. Young (Richard), one son, Rodney B. Leonard (Irene), and a daughter-in-law, Amy Leonard; one sister, Faye Cyrus; six grandchildren, Skylar Leonard, Taylor Young, Ashton Leonard, Lexi Leonard, Ethan Young and Amber Leonard, and one great grandchild.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, A. Glenn Leonard, one sister, Elizabeth Toney and one brother, E.C. Cyrus.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at Sossamon Funeral Home.  All other times, they will be at her home.
