Judy P. Parrish

Judy Peoples Parrish, 72, of Henderson, NC died Friday, September 9, 2022 at her home.

Born in Warren County, she was the daughter of Fenner Peoples and Oza Verb Peoples.

Judy was a member of Crystal River Church of God, and was the former Owner and Operator of Judy P's Cleaning Service.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jake Roberson and the Rev. Frank Sossamon.  A burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.

Surviving is her husband of fifty-two years, Woodrow Wilson "Woody" Parrish Jr.; one daughter, Donna Kay Parrish, one son, Woodrow W. Parrish III; three sisters, Joyce Vaughan, Louise Smiley and Betty Raynor, one brother, Fenner Peoples Jr. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Geraldine Thompson and one brother, Sonny Peoples.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at Sossamon Funeral Home.  All other times, they will be at her home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Harp, Joe Williamson, Barry Raynor, Gene Raynor, K.C. Orr, Harry Orr, Sam Morse, and Randy Bartholomew.
