Kathryn Elaine Williams Woodlief, 66, of Henderson, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at her home.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late James Lee Williams Sr., and Christine Fenner Ayscue Williams.

Ms. Woodlief was a member of Freedom Life Church of God.

Surviving are one daughter, Christie Joy Tant; two sons, Mark Dennis Collier Jr. (Angela), and Michael James Tant; eleven grandchildren, Makayla Elam, Kiana Elam, Jervon Elam, Dennis Collier, Jonathan Collier, Chris Early, Krysten Hayes, Albert "Lil Jim" Tant III, Kaylee Tant, Jaylin Tant, and Aurora Tant; one great-grandchild, Piper Hayes; two sisters, Brenda Aiken, and Judy Parrish (Louis); two brothers, James Lee Williams Jr. (Carolyn) and Donald Ray Williams; several nieces and nephews; and best friend Mary Ayscue. Alongside her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Albert "Jim" James Tant II; three grandchildren, Lyndsey Rose Tant, Hailey Nicole Collier, and Aiden James Tant; one brother, Michael Anthony Williams; and brother-in-law, Coy Aiken.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Frank Sossamon. Interment will immediately follow the service at Sunset Gardens.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 1-2:00 p.m., at Sossamon Funeral Home, and at all other times at her home.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Lee Williams Jr., Jeremy Phelps, Louis "Bo" Parrish, Jamie Aiken, Jordan Moss, and Kenny McKonnell.
