Kris Nolan Rose, 52, of Henderson, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Duke University Hospital.

Born on September 17th, 1973, in Chapel Hill, NC, he was the son of the late David Rose Jr. and the late Nancy Ellis Rose. Kris was a professional cabinet maker for twenty-five years and later worked for Holland Industrial.

Visitation will be held at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford on May 30, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. and other times at the home of Shannon and Day’Lee Ramsey.

Kris is survived by his siblings Brian Keith Ellis (Tammy) of Roxboro, Pete Hamilton Rose(Teresa) of Stovall, and Shannon Adele Ramsey(Day’Lee) of Oxford, Nieces and Nephews: April(Tommy), Davey(Bailey), Allyson, Kelly(Jason), Katie(Micheal), Devin(Haley), Caley, along with numerous great nieces, great nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Oxford. Services will be conducted by Pastor Ronnie Matthews, Evangelist Scott Matthews and Pastor Wayne Clark. Interment will follow at Stovall Memorial Cemetery.
