Lila Rea Frazier Wynne, 89, of Oxford passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Duke Regional Hospital.
Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Joseph Frazier and Ethel Jones Frazier.
She was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford Chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Wynne Lunsford and Kimberly Wynne Dean (Michael); four grandchildren, Shannon L. Vick (Scott), Amy E. Dean (Matthew), Randy W. Lunsford (Whitney) and Susan D. Dean (David); four great grandchildren, Hailey N. Dean, Summer G. Vick, Wyatt A. Lunsford, and Weldon T. Lunsford; one brother, Robert Frazier (Brenda); a sister-in-law, Carolyn Frazier and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Jefferson Wynne Jr.; one brother, Charles Frazier and one son-in-law, Glenn T. Lunsford.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford.
