Linda Weaver
Bullock
April 11, 2026
Linda Weaver Bullock, 71, of Durham, NC, passed away at her home and entered her eternal home with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
Born on November 4, 1954, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late James Patrick Weaver and Mayola Ruth Batchelor Weaver.
Linda was a woman of unwavering faith. She believed with her whole heart that nothing was impossible for God. More recently, she devoted her Sunday mornings to online services at home. She especially enjoyed hearing the Word of God and listening to Praise and Worship from the ministers in her family, so she frequented services at the churches of her brother and her sister, whom she considered her "Personal Pastor."
Linda was a devoted wife. Her marriage was built on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Ty would often remind her that she was his saving grace, and that God saved him when He sent him an angel from heaven. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her children, Emily and Blake and her grandson, Titus, unconditionally. She was a devoted family member and friend. There was nothing more important to her than the love for and from her family. Her love was without end. She was known by others as "Ty's Queen" and could very well have been "royalty." She was indeed a woman of high class. When she entered a room, people stood at attention and took notice. She was so beautiful, inside and out. Her outer beauty was unquestionable, but for those who knew her, her inner beauty far surpassed even that.
Linda loved to travel with Ty and their family. Ty would fly her to concerts. She loved music, and through her connections with Record Bar and Bullock's BBQ, she met and personally knew several famous artists, such as Olivia Newton-John, Sugarland and the Judds. She and Ty would enjoy her VIP privileges, and she loved to get all dolled up for the occasion. Linda was incredibly talented. She once personally designed a dress for Olivia Newton-John. She was born with a God-given talent to draw and paint and was an amazing artist.
Ty would often fly her to her happy places — St. Pete's Beach, Amelia Island, and other her favorite tropical destinations. More recently, she had developed a newfound love for The Grand Villas at Indian Beach. She loved going to the beach and had a hobby and a talent for finding shark's teeth.
Linda always had a heart for charity. Years ago, upon surviving a tragic automobile accident and losing her dear cousin Tracy, that became apparent. This tragedy prompted an opportunity for her spirit of generosity and compassion, and a campaign was launched with her Aunt Alice to raise funds for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. A drawing by Tracy was placed on T-shirts and mugs. With the help of family, these were sold, and thousands of dollars in profit were donated in her honor and memory of Tracy.
Linda was a woman of fierce strength — a fighter, through and through. That strength was evident throughout her entire life, but especially in the last couple of years, often referring to herself as a "Throne Rockstar." The family believes that strength was passed on to her through her mother, whom they lost this past August.
Like her mother, Linda was the epitome of what love should look like. Her heart was immeasurable. Few in this world have ever been more kind, compassionate, and caring of others. She was truly a woman of dignity and integrity. She will be missed incredibly, but her memory will live on as a true reflection of the love of God. She will always be remembered as a woman of faith, character, and love. If you knew Linda, you were blessed!
