Linda Adcock Cox, 86, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026.

Born in Granville County on January 12, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Cora Adcock, longtime residents of Creedmoor.

Linda was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Creedmoor and retired from John Umstead Hospital after many years of dedicated service.

Linda was a loving mother and cherished Nana whose life was centered on her family. Her quiet strength, gentle spirit, and unconditional love were felt by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Spaugh (Rick); her son, Chris Cox (Heather); and her grandchildren, Tyler Spaugh, Keegan Cox, and Kate Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Cox.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.

We will remember Nana for her kindness, her quiet strength, and the love she gave so freely.
