Linda Hyde Huff

Linda Hyde Huff, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Creedmoor.

Linda was born in Durham County on August 10, 1944, to the late Nick Hyde and Gertrude Sawyer Hyde.

She was a member of Lawrence Rd. Baptist Church in Hillsborough, NC for many years. Linda retired from Burlington Industries and Jacob's Glass Company after many years of service.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor officiated by Reverend Lonnie Bell. Burial will follow at South Granville Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include two sons, Michael L. Huff (Donna) and Ronald Hyde; two daughters, Pamela A. Huff (Toby Barnette) and Kimberly Norman (Michael Sewell); five grandchildren, Ashley Huff (Brock Wicker), Joshua Huff, Alec Barnette, Melody Hyde and Willow Norman and one great grandchild, Jackson Wicker, as well as many other extended family members. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine Jordan and Nellie Hyde.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 2, 2023, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor.

Pallbearers for the service will be Toby Barnette, Alec Barnette, Joshua Huff, Brock Wicker, Michael Sewell and Brian Brown.
