Linda Griffin Hughes, 52, of Oxford, NC passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Durham County on August 23, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Charles Buddie Griffin and Rosa Pendergraph Griffin.

She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and Team Deadly Hertz.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church. Conducted by Pastor Jimmy Hall. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include her husband, Albert C. Hughes Jr.; four daughters, Kimberly McCotter, Charity McCotter, Hope McCotter and Faith McCotter; two sons; David McCotter Jr and Douglas McCotter; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. I addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Binion and Amy Lyon; and one nephew Sol Plante.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December, 20, 2022 at Sossamon Funeral Home in Creedmoor from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
