Linda Carol Carver McGarr, 71, of Stem passed away Sunday, November 6,2022 at her home.

Born in Durham County on September 24, 1951, she was the daughter of Frank Goode Carver and Callie Jean Andrews Carver.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12,2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor officiated by Reverend Darry Whitlow. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.

Survivors include, her husband of thirty-eight years, William Ray McGarr; one daughter, Ashley McGarr; two sons, Scott Rigney (Cindy) and Kevin McGarr (Terri); five grandchildren, Tucker Rigney, Chloe Cash, Connor Croom, Mason Cash and Maci Cash; one sister, Lesha Barbee (Rickie); one brother, Jimmy Carver (Marilyn) and many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Phillip Carver and Frank "Pedro" Carver Jr.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 11,2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor.
