Linda W. Pendleton

Linda Wood Pendleton 74, of Oxford, NC died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Duke University Hospital in Durham.

Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Parrott Wood and Woodrow Wilson Wood.  Mrs. Pendleton was formerly employed as a Quality Control Specialist with Revlon Inc. She attended Freedom Life Church of God.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jeff Prewer. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Warrenton.

Surviving are a son, R. Craig Pendleton (Tina); three grandchildren, Chloe A. Pendleton, Matthew A. Pendleton, and Zackary A. Pendleton.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pendleton, two sisters and one brother.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Adcox, Steve Wilkerson, Daniel Satterwhite, Mark Williamson, Tiago Andrade and Pastor William Finch.

The family will receive Tuesday, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home.
