It is with mixed joy and sadness that our dear Lisa Jean Aiken ended her suffering on this earth on August 16, 2026, and now walks with her beloved Jesus.

Lisa was born to Julia and Elvin Aiken on May 6, 1956, in Durham County.

She lived at 607 Pine St. (her Creedmoor home) for sixty-one years before moving to a group home in Alamance County.

Lisa had only love in her heart for everyone. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be greatly missed.

She leaves behind her loving brother, Lynn Aiken and his wife Alice; two nephews, Philip and his wife April and Jimmy and his wife Debbie and her loving cousins, Deborah and Donna.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 24, 2026, at the Creedmoor Cemetery.
