Lois Arlene Loftis 88, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Dunmore Senior Living of Oxford, Surrounded by her family.

She was the daughter of the late Haskins & Macie Yancey Loftis, and lived most of her life in Stovall where she attended Stovall High School and attended Stovall Baptist Church. Later in life she started attending Dexter Baptist Church where she became a member. Arlene loved reading books, beautiful flowers and was passionate about all animals.

Arlene is survived by a sister, Madelyn Wilson; and a brother, Gerald Loftis (Ann); along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and a lifetime of friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jewel Lester.

To respect and honor Arlene's wishes, there will be no public services, her favorite flower of Roses will be placed in her church. The family truly appreciates the staff at Dunmore Senior Living for the love, care and compassion given to Arlene during her stay with them. Tey also want to express a huge thank you to Liberty Homecare and Hospice and their wonderful nurses who worked tirelessly in caring for her final needs. May God bless you all for the genuine love shown to Arlene.
