Lonnie Wright Jr.

Lonnie Linwood Wright Jr., 61, of Franklinton passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

Born on June 21, 1964, in Durham County, he was the son of Lonnie Linwood Wright Sr. and the late Joyce Etta Ray.

Lonnie took great pride in his plants and his yard, and he loved his chickens.

Memorial services will be held Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Olive Branch Baptist Church, 123 Olive Branch Rd., Durham, NC 27703.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-eight years, April Enloe Wright; two sons, Trey Wright (Ronny) and Michael Wright and his father, Lonnie Wright Sr. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Clark.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Olive Branch Baptist Church in memory of Lenny Wright.
