Loretta M. Gill

Loretta Morris Gill, 86, of Henderson, NC died Friday, January 20, 2023 at a local nursing home, surrounded by her family.

Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Louise Morris Critzer and David Morris.  She was the widow of Bobby Robert Gill.

Mrs. Gill was a member of Carey Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home Chapel of Henderson, conducted by the Rev. Tabitha Pate.  Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Gill (Debra) and William Cameron Gill (Janis); one sister, Joyce Morris Mason (Karl); five grandchildren, Wayne Gill (Amanda), Kristy Harp (Steve), Robby Gill (Krystal), Cameron Gill Jr. and Dallas Gill; eight great-grandchildren, Chris Harp, Taylor Harp, Dylan Kidd, Jackson Gill, Colton Gill, Elijah Gill, Carter Gill and Isaiah Gill.

The family will receive friends Monday, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Sossamon Funeral Home.  All other times, they will be at the home of Donald and Debra Gill.

Serving as pall bearers will be Wayne Gill, Robby Gill, Cameron Gill Jr., Dallas Gill, Steve Harp, Chris Harp and Dylan Kidd.
