Luz M. Melendez-Rodriguez

Luz Maria Melendez-Rodriguez – 91, of Creedmoor, NC passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Severo Melendez and Ramona Rodriguez. She was the widow of Pedro Juan Martinez.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Conducted by Padre Leon. Interment will follow the mass at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include one daughter, Magda Davies; three grandsons, Peter Davies, John Davies and David Davies; three great grandchildren, Sierra Cox, Damian Davies and Robert Davies; two great-great grandchildren, David Davies and Oliver Clarke; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.

The family receive friends on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Sossamon Funeral Home of Creedmoor from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
