Mack Ray

Mack Ray 73, of Kittrell, NC, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024, at UNC Rex Healthcare.

Born in Wake County, NC, he was the son of the late Arbert Willis Ray and Irene Mae Poole.

He was a member of Fall of the Neuse Pentecostal Holiness Church.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Nutbush Presbyterian Church. Conducted by the Rev. Wayne Browning. Interment will be private.

Survivors include a sister, Star Faye Tucker; a nephew, Mark Tucker (Margaret); four great nieces, Albrie Tucker Williams (Greg), Kelly Tucker, Tisa Richards (James) and Amanda Bryant(Kyle); two great great nieces, Kennedy Williams and Everly Williams; three great great nephews, Thomas Russell Williams, Tucker Glen Williams and Hunter Richardson; sisters, Kathlene Ennis and Bonnie King (Dean); brother, Ronnie Ray; twin brother, Jack Ray (Bonnie); and his beloved Rat Terrier "Bailey". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.

Pallbearers will be Mark Tucker, Ricky Collier, Matthew Pergerson, Chuck Ramsey, Mike Fogleman, Jimmy Edwards and Greg Williams. David Short will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service. At other times they will be at the home of Mark and Margaret Tucker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nutbush Presbyterian Church "Cemetery Fund", PO Box 116, Townsville NC 27584.
