Margaret E Oakley

Margaret Ersell Oakley 82, of Butner, NC passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Murdoch Developmental Center.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Ivory Thomas Oakley and Ruby Fuller Oakley.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Conducted by the Rev. Johnny Yount.

Survivors include two brothers, Samuel Oakley and Lawrence H Oakley (Regina); a sister-in-law, Alice Oakley and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Baxter Reid Oakley, Coy Oakley and Russell Oakley.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service. At other times they will be at the home of Lawrence and Regina Oakley.
